Victoria Delsasso

Technical Assistant, NUCS Core Facility

Victoria Delsasso started working as a technical assistant at WSU NSC in March of 2022, working on preparing samples, drafting and editing procedures, and maintaining lab spaces and equipment for the NUCS Core Facility located in Fulmer Hall. She earned her AS in Electrical Engineering at Lower Columbia College in Longview, WA in June of 2021 and transferred to WSU immediately afterwards to pursue her BS in Electrical Engineering, with a focus in distributed power systems and renewable energy. Her mission is to improve national power infrastructure, making it more sustainable, efficient, and eco-friendly. She saw an opportunity to jump start her career when she applied to WSU NSC, as she is fascinated in nuclear science’s relevance to power and energy. Victoria is a member of the Energy Systems Innovation Center (ESIC) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) chapters at WSU Voiland College of Engineering. When not working or studying, she enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
