I am requesting access to X-ray based instrumentation housed in NUCS Dodgen 114 or NUCS Fulmer B3.
Since this instrument employs X-ray radiation for data collection, prior to using this instrument, each user must complete the X-Ray Safety training module on myWSU (https://wsu.skillport.com/skillportfe/) . The certificate of completion at the end of this training course will need to be attached below.
In applying for access to an instrument within the Nuclear and Chemical Science (NUCS) Core Facility I agree to abide by the rules and regulations (seen below) of the NUCS Core Facility.
Rules and Regulations:
The instrument will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for approved experiments to those users with access credentials. Experiments involving radioactive samples must be reviewed and approved in writing by NSC Management. Approval for all experiments involving radioactive materials are obtained by contacting the NUCS Core Facility staff prior to instrument use.
All instrument time is booked through reservations made on iLab. No walk-up use is allowed.
No food or drink is allowed within the NUCS Core Facility.
